For over 20 years, the guiding vision for how our church would lead all people to become mature disciples of Jesus Christ was through:
“Loving God. Connecting with Others. Serving the World.” 
This vision has served us well in that time. 
Through much prayer, searching the Scriptures, seeking the Lord, and gathering wise counsel and vital information, we believe an updated vision was needed. This updated vision seeks to honor the focus of the previous Love. Connect. Serve. The updated vision for HDBC is: Gather. Grow. Go.
Gather as believers.
Grow as disciples.
Go as disciple-makers.
