There are over 400,000 children and teens in the U.S. who are in the Foster Care system. 100,000 of them are waiting to be adopted. Project Zero is an organization that began in Pulaski County, Arkansas. Its mission is "diligently and enthusiastically promote adoption through the foster care system with the ultimate goal of finding a forever family for every child who is waiting." One of the ways churches can be involved is by praying for specific children on a regular basis until they find their forever family.
HDBC has been asked to pray for two precious children, Khalil and Khalilah, a set of twins who are looking for their forever home. I love this opportunity and enthusiastically encourage you to join me in praying for these two children. Here is a short video that will introduce them to you. https://youtu.be/6mhenTie1yw.
Please add these two precious ones to your regular prayer list. If you would like more information in Project Zero you can go to www.theprojectzero.org.
